Program Design for a Local High
School Fundraiser
The Lebanon Raiders Hockey team is a beloved high school team in Lebanon, NH. Every year the high school seeks additional monetary support to help the boys’ and girls’ teams purchase uniforms and equipment. One of the standard fundraising efforts is an annual program and for the past nine years RYCO Design has worked with the team to design and layout this program.

Contributing to a Teams Success
Every year, the team engages local businesses to publish and distribute a program book as their fundraising tool. The book is a fun showcase of the Raiders, including the team roster, key stats, game schedules, photos and player profiles. The 40-page book also includes paid promotional ads for local businesses and organizations, which be purchased in various sizes and often promote the business or can be used as a personal showcase. The funds from the advertising are used towards the hockey program resources. Each member of the high school hockey team is responsible for selling ad space, an exercise for the players to engage in the community and contribute to their team success.

The Result
RYCO Design has designed the Lebanon Hockey annual program booklet for the past nine years. Every issue features the classic maroon and yellow school colors on the cover and the base colors throughout yet has a different style unique from the years before. The internal pages have an edgy layout, combining bold action shots with marketing ads and graphics with professional headshots. The copy is written with fun and enthusiasm to encourage readers to cheer on the Raiders for the upcoming season.
The sophisticated graphic design makes this a cohesive pubication of various businesses, people and promotions for the hometown high school team. RYCO Design also helps local businesses create ad designs that work well graphically for the booklet, and the creative can be used in other publications. Copies of this program book can be found in several business across town, and many businesses participate every year.
As a community supporter, RYCO Design has also helped the high school with other projects, including helmet decals and hockey uniform designs.
